Tobias Geisler to speak at London Experience Week

When technology meets emotion, can experience design truly move us — or does it risk losing its human touch?

On April 30 from 2:00 to 2:30 PM BST (London Time), Tobias Geisler, Co-founder of VAVESTUDIO, will speak at the 2025 London Experience Week. At the Science Lab session held at Phantom Peak, he will join Rosie O’Connor (UK) and Miguel Melgarejo (Mexico) for a cross-cultural dialogue.

In this 30-minute session, the three speakers will explore the theme “Technology vs Emotion”: Is technology diluting emotional depth in experience design, or can it actually amplify it? Through storytelling, debate, and confrontation of ideas, the session aims to challenge common assumptions and uncover how design and technology can create truly moving spaces.

This session is part of London Experience Week – a global experience economy summit initiated by the World Experience Organization (WXO). From April 28 to May 2, over 500 pioneers in creativity, brand leadership, operations, and investment will gather in London to explore the future of experience design.
