The bálancing “Induction Field” shortlisted for 2026 ADC Awards

We are very honored to announce that the the bálancing “Induction Field” booth, created by VAVE for Bailian Group at the 2025 China International Import Expo (CIIE), has been successfully shortlisted for the 2026 German ADC Awards under the “SPATIAL EXPERIENCE – TRADE SHOW APPEARANCE” category!

The 2025 CIIE in Shanghai marked a major public debut for the bálancing, the buyer brand under Bailian Group, a leading retail conglomerate in China. In an era of online shopping, we created a bespoke “Induction Field” for the brand: an empathetic commercial model experience space dynamically connecting people, product, and place through AI.

The spatial experience includes an AI-powered emotional recognition art installation that generates personalized color palettes and recommends products in real time based on the visitor’s emotions. This experience weaves through the entire exhibition area, elevating consumption into a journey of self-discovery. Using the two sides of paper as a metaphor for the duality of rationality and emotion, the space takes the form of a double-curved surface topography, echoing the bálancing’s brand philosophy of “the way of balance.” With its visual language of “dynamic balance and constant change,” the entire space becomes a living field where AI and emotion work in concert.
