VAVE to create Chishui Brewing Town

With extensive experience in spatial experience design, VAVE has been selected to collaborate with Luzhou Laojiao Group, one of China’s most historic and premium brewing enterprises, to create the “Chishui Brewing Town”.

Located in Hejiang County, Sichuan Province, where the Yangze River meets the Chishui River, the site has been a cradle of brewing culture for centuries. Rooted in this unique terroir, Chishui Brewing Town will become a new cultural and tourism landmark that celebrates the intangible heritage of solid-state brewing, from traditional soy sauce craftsmanship to the poetic connection between river, land, and people.

VAVE’s design vision transforms this legacy into an immersive, time-transcending journey, revealing the beauty of craft, the spirit of dedication, and the art of making. Through spatial storytelling and digital interpretation, the project will merge history with innovation, inviting visitors to experience how heritage can evolve in the modern age.
